A former Celtic player who stepped into management after retiring from football has been sacked.
Celtic know what it is like to be looking for a new manager ever since Brendan Rodgers resigned, and work is being done to find his replacement.
Wilfried Nancy is a frontrunner for the Hoops vacancy, as well as Kjetil Knutsen, Kieran McKenna and a host of others.
Things aren’t going to plan for some former Bhoys either, and one has just been dismissed from his recent role.

Barry Robson sacked by Raith Rovers
Scottish Championship club Raith Rovers have confirmed that they have sacked Barry Robson after only 11 months in the job.
Robson joined Raith with the target of getting promotion to the Scottish Premiership but has disappointed, with a 2-1 loss at Queen’s Park leaving them sixth in the second tier.
Raith supporters made it clear that they had seen enough from the former Celtic man, and a statement confirmed his departure on Tuesday.
They said: “Raith Rovers Football Club can today announce that Barry Robson has been relieved of his duties as Manager.
“In addition, Assistant Manager Andy Kirk will leave his position with immediate effect.
“Our thanks go to both for their time and effort during their time with us.”
Scott Brown thrives while Barry Robson struggled
Robson’s disappointment is polar opposite to the work that Scott Brown is doing at Ayr United.
They are hoping to reach the top flight and are relying on the loan duo of Jude Bonnar and Kyle Ure, who have impressed Brown.
Ure has been doing extra work with Brown to get better and Robson may want to look at his former captain as inspiration for his next role.
