A former Celtic player has come out of retirement just months after saying he was looking forward to eating kebabs for the rest of his life guilt-free.
Kasper Schmeichel could end up retiring due to his shoulder injury, which will leave him out of action for anywhere between 10-12 months.
Other former Hoops stars have also hung up their boots in recent times but retirement is a daunting prospect and one ex-Celtic player has changed his mind already.

John Guidetti signs for local Swedish club despite kebab pledge
John Guidetti enjoyed a fruitful loan spell at Celtic, scoring 15 goals, only to turn down the opportunity to move to Scotland permanently.
Guidetti announced his retirement at the age of 33 at the beginning of the year, stating on Swedish TV that he could “eat kebabs without criticism” while working as a pundit.
Three months after his statement, it has been confirmed that he has made a return to the sport by signing for Swedish fourth tier side Rinkeby United.
The 33-year-old is eligible to play and has been deemed as a fan of the club.
Why John Guidetti didn’t sign a permanent deal with Celtic
After a blistering start to life with the Hoops, the second half of the season fell off somewhat and frustrations crept in.
Tensions were high between the forward and the club by the end of the spell but he admitted that the loan spell was always a stepping stone to play in England or Spain.

The Scottish league was good for me to get fully fit, but my goal was always to play in England or Spain because I consider those two competitions to be the best in the world,” he said.
“Because of that, at Celtic I ended up in the stands.
“It was a real pity because Celtic are a terrific club and their fans deserved a better farewell from me.”
