Speaking to CelticFC.net, Celtic goalkeeper Fraser Forster is excited to experience European nights at Celtic Park again, believing our supporters produce a special atmosphere he loves to savour.
Forster, who according to Spotrac earns £70,000-a-week from his Southampton contract, originally made his name at the Hoops in part thanks to massive nights in the UEFA Champions League, most notably against Barcelona.
He may be playing in the secondary European competition this time around, but he is no less excited about taking in the unique feeling of Paradise under the lights against continental competition.
As quoted by CelticFC.net, he said: “Everyone knows how special it is here, and under the lights on a European night at Celtic Park, it’s one of those occasions I can’t wait for.
“To have that opportunity to get back out there is great and I can’t wait, although, obviously, we’ve got a couple of games before then that we need to do the business in.
“There is nothing to fear. We’re in a good place as a team and wherever we go, whether it’s Lazio or Cluj, or if we’re playing at home, we’ve got nothing to be afraid of and we can go into those games really wanting to win.”

Has the great wall been rebuilt?
Forster will know he has a great chance to rebuild his career at Celtic this season.
Having dropped out of goalkeeping contention at Southampton, despite his high wages, it looked like he could regress and become something of a faded star.
At the Hoops he looks reborn. The 31-year-old has already stated how highly he thinks of Neil Lennon. The Hoops boss is currently getting the best out of him and it bodes very well ahead of five massive European matches.

Cluj, Lazio and Rennes are all likely to have big chances at home and away, so having Forster installed eager to recapture his ‘La Gran Muralla’ form is exciting.
As a last line of defence he’s already proving to be well worth the loan investment. His performances over the next couple of months, especially in Europe, will go a long way to determining whether we will pursue his permanent signing.
