Fuming rival supporters are having a hilarious meltdown over Celtic star Kyogo

Kyogo is a wonderful Celtic player. Even when he isn’t scoring goals he is a joy to watch perform.

That was never more evident than today at Celtic Park versus Aberdeen. It wasn’t his best game in a Bhoys jersey, but he gave every ounce of himself to make himself valuable to the team.

He didn’t give up on a ball all afternoon and, despite being visibly fatigued towards the end, was battling with a physical Aberdeen team without fear.

Funny then that he has gained something of a reputation as a weak, diving player amongst rival fans, who seem to be in meltdown tonight about him getting hit in the face by David Bates in the second half.

Bates caught Kyogo with his right hand when tussling for the ball, with the Japanese international forced to the deck. Some Rangers supporters seem to have taken this as some sort of evidence for cheating, which is wholly absurd. He was clearly clipped.

In fact, they seem completely rattled by Kyogo in general, given his lightning start in Scotland. There’s an argument for him being the best player in the country already.

They’ll just have to cope with that as the weeks and months roll on because it will take more than moaning online fans and a conspiracy about him being a cheat to stop him.

In the meantime, we can bask in their ridiculous takes and fury, as Kyogo manages to wind them up again…

Wonderful stuff.
