Celtic fans are really enjoying one of the most dominant seasons in recent history after going 14 points ahead of Rangers in the Scottish Premiership.
The Bhoys battered St Johnstone with a performance that left Saints boss Simo Valakari breathless at Celtic Park as Brendan Rodgers’ team ran riot.
The 4-0 win capped off a wonderful year for the Celtic boss as he now heads to Ibrox for the New Year Glasgow Derby with a team full of confidence.
However, as Rangers fell further behind Celtic by dropping points at Motherwell, Gerry McCulloch shares what the Hoops fans were singing when the Fir Park club’s second goal hit the back of the net.
Celtic fans recall infamous song from Brendan Rodgers’ first spell at the club
With Motherwell 2-0 up and Celtic leading St Johnstone by a single goal, the Celtic fans celebrated with a song that became a mantra during Brendan Rodgers’ first spell at the club.
McCulloch said on Celtic TV, “I mean, it does show the dominance of Celtic I think I heard at one point after Motherwell had scored their second goal, the Celtic fans down to our left were singing ’10 in a row’, you know?
“I mean, I know that’s getting a little bit ahead of ourselves.”
Celtic are edging ever closer to their fourth title in a row and with the gap between the Bhoys and Rangers larger than it’s ever been, it seems like the fans are daring to dream once again.
Peter Grant gets brutal with Rangers message to Celtic
On duty with Celtic TV, Peter Grant sent the Parkhead club a message and he was ruthless as he told Celtic to win the league with as many points as they possibly can.
Grant replied, “We do that as supporters but definitely not as managers and coaches or players.
“The focus here is, because you know how things turn and I don’t mean in the league chase this year in any shape or form, you know how quickly things can turn.

“That’s why your focus at this club has got to be day to day, game to game. That’s the way it is because you want all your big players to be constantly fit and available.
“You want to win with as many points as you can. People keep saying that [the gap] is too big. I don’t care.
“I want Celtic to win it with as many points as they possibly can and get stronger and stronger.”
Celtic could be on course for another record-breaking season if they continue their relentless domestic form with another treble on the cards.
If Rodgers can manage that, this would be the Hoops’ ninth treble in their history surpassing the record set when Ange Postecoglou sealed their eighth clean sweep back in 2023.
