The Green Brigade will unveil a massive tifo display at Hampden tomorrow to welcome Ange Postecoglou and his Celtic team into the Scottish League Cup Final vs Hibernian.

Postecoglou and his Bhoys have the chance to earn the first silverware of the Scottish season and go into the fixture as big favourites. However, finals are often unpredictable and hard-fought affairs, so vocal support from the 30,000 Celtic fans in attendance is crucial.

The Green Brigade are looking to set the tone from the moment the teams come out of the tunnel, posting a request for assistance on Twitter today.

The stage is set for an emotional, heart-thumping occasion at Hampden as the team look to lay down a marker to the rest of Scotland today.

The Green Brigade, and other fan groups, took a vow of silence to protest against the potential appointment of Bernard Higgins in two recent home games, so it’ll be fantastic to see tens of thousands create the atmosphere for a Celtic match again.

Postecoglou has stated the importance of unity between the crowd and team across 90 minutes. No doubt the team will relish the noise and colour on display at Hampden.

A trophy win would cap off a wild 12 months for Celtic. There have been serious lows, but celebratory scenes at Hampden would be a massive demonstration of the progress being made under the manager.

It would set the Bhoys up very nicely indeed for a strong 2022.

In other news, Ange Postecoglou admits Chris Jullien’s Celtic comeback isn’t going smoothly; hard work continues.
