Henrik Larsson is arguably the greatest Celtic player of all time.
The King of Kings scored 242 goals in 315 games for the Hoops between 1997 and 2004 before an emotional exit to Spanish giants Barcelona.
Larsson is one of Celtic’s highest scorers in the club’s history, with only Bobby Lennox and Jimmy McGrory ahead of him on the leaderboard.
Larsson has always been humble, however, and says his Celtic success would not have been possible without his teammates – one crucial player being Neil Lennon.

Larsson says Celtic legend Neil Lennon was ‘built different’
Larsson was speaking to Charlie Mulgrew on the former Celtic defender’s Mulgrew Pitch to Par YouTube channel as the pair played a round of golf in Sweden.
And Lennon came up early in the conversation on the course, with Larsson initially talking about natural fitness and how important that was for him in his career.
Mulgrew then highlighted Lennon, with Larsson saying the ex-midfielder was ‘built different’ than anybody else.
Larsson: “Natural fitness, without a doubt.”
Mulgrew: “Yeah, you’ve always got a chance when you’re fit and you can run. It’s big in football now, isn’t it?
Larsson: “Well it’s always been big in football.”
Mulgrew: “Neil Lennon though, how could he play these days?”
Larsson: “No I think he could play because he was fit. He was built different, but he was fit.”
Mulgrew: “I remember one day in training though, I played against him in midfield and he was off balance. I stepped across him and kind of shouldered him and he fell. He was going to kill me.”
Larsson: “Yeah, but maybe he wasn’t as stable as he used to be. No, but he was strong. He was strong.”
Lennon won an incredible number of trophies with Celtic
Perhaps nowadays, Neil Lennon is under-appreciated amongst Celtic fans, which sounds crazy. Given how his last spell as manager ended may play a part in that.
But over time, Lennon will be looked back on as one of Celtic’s greatest ever servants.
He won 21 major trophies with the Hoops as a player and then manager on two separate occasions. It means he is one of the most decorated Celtic stars ever.
Only Scott Brown, Billy McNeill, Callum McGregor, Bobby Lennox and James Forrest have won more with the Parkhead club.
