Celtic manager Ange Postecoglou says he isn’t bothered by the infamous clip doing the rounds of Alan Brazil and Ally McCoist laughing at his appointment at the club.
The talkSPORT effort has been widely circulated online and on Australian outlets as evidence of the hostile environment awaiting the Bhoys boss following his arrival from Yokohama F.Marinos in Japan.
Many pundits were far from convinced he was the right fit for the club and their comments have haunted them ever since, with Postecoglou overseeing an impressive rebuild at Celtic and already winning a trophy.

Asked about Brazil’s comments on Open Goal today, Postecoglou said: “I remember Alan Brazil as a player. He was a good player, mate. I just leave it at that level.
“Obviously he’s doing a different role now, he’s got an opinion and that’s fine. It doesn’t bother me. Obviously, he’s trying to make a bit of a statement, he made a statement and he’s got to live with that now.”
Brazil actually played football in Australia at the same time as Postecoglou, so perhaps even crossed paths back in the 1980s. The Celtic boss seems to recall him anyway.
Needless to say Postecoglou has had the last laugh here. Sitting three points ahead at the top of the Scottish Premiership, he has eight games to really rub success into the faces of doubting pundits.
He’s made it clear it doesn’t keep him up at night, but no doubt it’d be a great satisfaction for him to lift the serious silverware after being so brutally written off.
