Celtic have a number of celebrity fans that have adorned the green and white Hoops over the years.
Martin Compston has never hidden his love for Celtic and neither have famous faces like Kevin Bridges and neither have the likes of Gerard Butler, Stan Collymore and James McAvoy.
But it seems that Celtic have a new name to add to the list of famous faces that follow the Hoops after Hollywood star, Christopher Waltz’s latest admission about the Parkhead club.
Waltz was ‘honoured’ and excited to watch Celtic vs Rangers
Waltz is currently in Glasgow filming a remake of the Frankenstein classic and shares how he was invited to the Glasgow Derby.
And here, you can watch his visible excitement in a class moment where he watches the Celtic team emerge from the tunnel to warm up before kicking off the Rangers fixture:
Waltz told Celtic TV, “Look, I can’t decide between the feeling of being honoured and the excitement to be invited to the Glasgow Derby.
“On the set when word got around that I’m going to be here, everybody was jealous. And I said, ‘Don’t worry, guys, I’ll tell you how it went’.
“We rave about it, but the excitement of being here with you, right now, that close, I’ve never experienced anything like it, because it’s my first time, so you understand my excitement.

“All I can say is that if they should play each other in Munich [Bayern Munich and Celtic], I would be wearing a green jersey.”
Celtic’s new Hollywood fan
The look on Waltz’s face was just superb when Brendan Rodgers’ team ran out of the tunnel prior to kick-off.
That feeling Waltz felt is one all Celtic fans get whenever they get the opportunity to see their heroes, be inside the stadium or experience something out of the norm at the club.
It’s what Celtic does. The feeling this club gives to supporters old and new is what makes it so special. Seeing Waltz’s reaction will endear the Austrian actor to the Celtic support and it seems, now, that the Parkhead club have a new fan after delivering this unforgettable experience.
