Celtic fans will be able to watch two of their players in action at the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations.

Sebastian Tounekti and Michel-Ange Balikwisha have been selected by Tunisia and DR Congo respectively for the competition and will hope to emerge victorious in Africa’s biggest footballing prize.

Kelechi Iheanacho didn’t make the final cut for the tournament in Morocco, but there will still be plenty of action in involving the other duo.

It is the first time that either player has been selected for AFCON, with Balikwisha only recently switching his allegiance to DR Congo.

Thankfully, fans will be able to see the pair in action, and here is how you can follow the action.

Can AFCON be where Michel-Ange Balikwisha finally hits some form?

How to watch the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations

In the UK and Ireland, all matches will be live across Channel 4’s network.

Games will be live to watch on Channel 4, E4, 4Seven, Streaming and Channel 4 Sport YouTube.

Sebastian Tounekti – Tunisia

Despite coming under fire from Celtic fans for his performances, Tounekti has the chance to rediscover his early season form on the international stage.

Tunisia aren’t one of the favourites to win the tournament, but have the chance to upset the apple cart.

They are in Group C, alongside Nigeria, Uganda and Tanzania – which is one of the tougher matches.

While his Celtic career has been underwhelming to say the least, it has been a whirlwind few months as an international player for Balikwisha.

DR Congo are closing in on a place at the 2026 World Cup and need to win a play-off game against one of New Caledonia or Jamaica.

However, before that there is the small matter of representing his nation for the first time at AFCON where they will be in Group D with Senegal, Benin and Botswana.
