Celtic is still monitoring Lennon Miller’s situation at Motherwell.

The young midfielder is out of contract at the end of next season, and it appears that Celtic are still very much in the hunt for talented youngster.

Miller has been on Celtic’s radar for well over a year now and as the Parkhead club have yet to make a move for the Motherwell regular, it seems that Brendan Rodgers’ interest has never waned.

With the transfer chat never going away, Miller commented on Celtic’s interest just a few days ago and it seems, now, that the Parkhead club could be set to make their move.

Celtic set to make summer move for Lennon Miller

The Daily Record reports that Celtic are still ‘keeping tabs’ on young Lennon Miller and says that the Glasgow giants could make a potential summer bid.

The report states that despite Motherwell knocking back the Parkhead club’s advances at the end of the last transfer window, Celtic is still ‘very much active’ with Brendan Rodgers’s scouting team ‘doing regular reports’ on the Scotland youth international.

According to the report, Celtic ‘rate Miller highly’ and are also aware that German side Eintracht Frankfurt are also keeping tabs on the youngster.

What Lennon Miller has said about Celtic’s interest

As previously said, Miller commented on Celtic’s interest as he made his comeback from injury and was a leading player at beating Rangers at Ibrox last weekend.

Miller said, “My aim was to get back fit. That stuff takes care of itself, and I was just trying to get focused to get back on the pitch and play for Motherwell.

“It’s obviously not nice to get injured, and for it to be longer than I first expected it to be is a tough one, but you’ve got to get your head down. You’ve got to work hard and come back as fit as possible, and then build up from there.

“Still getting there a wee bit. Obviously, I played the back-to-back 90s when I first came back, and felt fit enough, but there’s still improvements there. The legs are obviously sore now, but we’ll recover.”
