How much Celtic’s Euro 2024 payout outstrips Rangers’ as UEFA deliver handsome payout

Celtic’s finances compared to Rangers over the last decade has been uncomparable.

The Parkhead club’s financial model has managed to keep Celtic miles ahead of Rangers both on and off the pitch.

From the Celtic board’s sterling work in the transfer market, kit deal with Adidas and fans digging deep every year with season ticket cash the Hoops are currently one of the richest clubs in the UK.

But now, more cash is set roll into the Parkhead coffers as UEFA announce payments to be made to clubs whose players participated in last summer’s Euro 2024.

UEFA pay Celtic almost double what Rangers received from Euro 2024 payout

A total of 12 clubs recieved a share of £2.3m as UEFA anounced clubs across the continent are to be rewarded for sending players to the big summer tournament in Germany as well as the 2020/21 and 2022/23 Nations League and European Qualifiers.

Over 900 clubs across the governing bodies jurisdiction received a share of €233m but in Scotland, Celtic will be handed the biggest payout.

Speaking about the payment, UEFA president Aleksander Čeferin said, “It is fantastic to see clubs of all sizes and levels, across the entire football pyramid, receiving financial rewards for their vital role in developing players who contribute to the success of our national team competitions – including the highly successful UEFA EURO 2024 final tournament.”

With a World Cup coming and more Nations League games being played, Celtic are likely to recieve more payments in the future to help top up their already bulging bank balance.
