Ben Doak left Celtic for Liverpool in 2022 after rejecting a move to Leeds United.
The 19-year-old winger made his big move after Jurgen Klopp tempted Doak to leave Celtic for Liverpool in a move that cost the Premier League club a paltry £600,000.
Since then, the young winger has made just 10 appearances for the Anfield club after Doak made his Liverpool debut against Derby County in the Carabao Cup in November of that year.
Now on loan at Middlesbrough where Doak has been impressing, it seems the young Scotland international’s career is set to take another turn after leaving Celtic Park a mere 24 months ago.

Liverpool set huge asking price for former Celtic talent Ben Doak
It seems that Doak is wanted for a permanent move by Middlesbrough after his red-hot form saw the youngster score two and create six goals in 21 appearances for the Teesside club.
However, Crystal Palace are also in the mix and it appears that Liverpool is ready to cash in on Doak who was rumoured to be of interest to Celtic five months ago.
The Sun says the Premier League leaders want £30m for the Scottish winger with Bournemouth also said to be keeping an eye on the former Celtic academy talent.
Whilst a January move has not been ruled out, it is thought that any transfer involving Doak could take place in the summer after his loan spell at Middlesbrough ends.
How much Celtic could benefit if Liverpool sell of Ben Doak
Even though Doak left Celtic for Liverpool almost two years ago, it is very likely that the Parkhead club could benefit from any sale of the talented winger.
Typically, the Parkhead powerbrokers always insert a sell-on clause in any player sale they make and with Doak the likelihood of another clause being part of the deal is extremely high.
Assuming that Celtic insisted on a minimum clause of 10%, the Parkhead club could benefit to the tune of £3m if clubs meet Liverpool’s asking price.
With demand for the former Celtic youngster high, that fee could rise if a bidding war breaks out over the next few months.
