Celtic put on a superb performance in De Kuip to beat Feyenoord 3-1 away in the Europa League.
Celtic beat Feyenoord in convincing fashion after Martin O’Neill’s side went down 1-0 early in Rotterdam.
However, a battling first-half performance saw Celtic go in at half-time 2-1 up after goals from Hyunjun Yang and Reo Hatate shocked the Eredivisie side in their own ground.
But it was when Hatate beautifully took advantage of a Feyenoord defensive mix-up to put Celtic in front that the BBC took the opportunity to stick the boot into Rangers.

Celtic were sitting nicely at 1-1 with just minutes to go until half-time as Feyenoord committed defensive suicide to allow Reo Hatate to slot home the second.
And the BBC didn’t turn down the chance to troll Celtic’s biggest rivals as soon as the ball hit the back of Feyenoord’s net.
On the BBC live text feed, the broadcaster posted, “What’s the goalie doin????
“Daizen Maeda closes down Feyenoord goalkeeper Timon Wellenreuther, who scuffs his clearance straight to Reo Hatate.

“The Japan midfielder keeps his cool to roll a first-time finish into an empty net.
“It’s an absolute gift, but Martin O’Neill and Celtic won’t care one bit.”
Celtic went on to put the game to bed after Benjamin Nygren smashed in the Hoops’ third goal in the 82nd minute to put the win in no doubt.
Celtic’s next Europa League fixture is absolutely crucial
Celtic have put themselves in a superb position in the Europa League as the Parkhead club sit in 18th place at the time of writing.
Celtic’s next fixture in the competition is against Roma, and another win at Parkhead could put Wilfried Nancy in a great position to qualify from the group.
For now, Celtic fans will be looking forward to Hibs at Easter Road where Martin O’Neill will look to close the gap to Hearts even more before he steps down as interim Hoops boss.
