Wilfried Nancy’s start to life at Celtic has been disastrous to say the least.
The Frenchman has lost all four games in charge as the Hoops manager, with fans beginning to turn on the 48-year-old after Celtic lost 2-1 to Dundee United.
Nancy has pleaded with fans to stick with him, but time feels like it is running out.
67 Hail Hail revealed that it would cost around £5m to sack Nancy after conflicting reports about his future emerged.
Talk of the sack may seem far-fetched, but that is the nature of the beast in Glasgow and a different kettle of fish to Columbus Crew.
His start there wasn’t too pretty either, but how do the two compare?

Wilfried Nancy’s first four Celtic games vs first four Columbus Crew games
This hasn’t been the start that anyone expected from Nancy at Celtic, but slow starts aren’t anything new to him.
In his first season at Columbus, the 48-year-old only won one of his first four games in charge.
| Wilfried Nancy’s first four Celtic fixtures | Wilfried Nancy’s first four Columbus Crew fixtures |
|---|---|
| Celtic 1-2 Hearts | Philadelphia Union 4-1 Columbus Crew |
| Celtic 0-3 Roma | Columbus Crew 2-1 D.C United |
| St Mirren 3-1 Celtic | Toronto FC 1-1 Columbus Crew |
| Dundee United 2-1 Celtic | New York Red Bulls 2-1 Columbus Crew |
A 4-1 loss to Philadelphia Union on the opening day made for grim reading, but they recovered to beat D.C United 2-1 in Nancy’s first home game.
They couldn’t follow that up as they drew 1-1 with Toronto FC before losing to New York Red Bulls.
Of course, it is nowhere near as bad as the start to life at Celtic, but a pattern has emerged as he also won just one of his four games in charge of CF Montreal.
Wilfried Nancy is on thin ice
If the Aberdeen game wasn’t a must-win before Wednesday, it certainly is now.
The Hoops are six points behind Hearts but have a game in hand to bring that down to at least three.
Four losses in a row is uncharted territory for a club of Celtic’s size and another defeat, in front of home fans, would mean he has reached the point of no return.
