Wilfried Nancy’s first two weeks at Celtic couldn’t really have gone much worse.
He decided to take the job in the most important week of the club’s season and instantly implement a new system, surely aware of the pitfalls of this.
And the worst case scenario is exactly what played out, as three defeats in three left Nancy in desperate need of a win against Dundee United at Tannadice.
Remarkably, despite a positive first half, Celtic lost the game in Dundee, after collapsing after the interval. This is the first time the Hoops have lost four consecutive games in almost 50 years.
Nancy’s results have been widely criticised, with some fans already calling for him to be sacked – but it isn’t just his results being ridiculed.

Hugh Keevins says someone at Celtic has ‘had a word’ with Wilfried Nancy
Nancy has described himself as not being ‘only about winning’, concerning some fans.
He also took to social media with a cryptic post on Tuesday, again opening himself up to being mocked by opposing fans.

But perhaps the most talked-about thing has been his use of a tactics board in the dugout and on the pitch – and on Clyde Superscoreboard, the conversation got onto Nancy’s form of communication.
And according to Hugh Keevins, someone at the club has spoken to Nancy about the tactics board.
He said: “He speaks English with a French accent, simple as that. He’s lived in America for many years.
“He’s been in America, speaking to English-speaking people for many years. So that, for me, is not an issue at all.
“Somebody has had a word with him about [the tactics board], and he’ll understand the way he was mocked.
“I’m not saying it’s right, but fans have an obsession with these things. If [Nancy] were to lose the fifth game against Aberdeen, then I’m sorry, but when do you actually get real here?
“Five defeats in a row, for the first time since 1947, at Celtic Park? That would mean his position is untenable.
“I would happen to think it’s untenable now, but five defeats in a row? You have to be kidding.”
Does Wilfried Nancy have the belief of the Celtic players?
What now for Celtic boss Wilfried Nancy?
It feels that Sunday’s clash with Aberdeen is an absolute must-win, but saying that brings a feeling of deja vu.
It’s Celtic’s last game before Christmas, after which it’s a notoriously tricky trip to face Livingston, though the Lions haven’t won a game since August.
A team on better form are Motherwell, who haven’t lost a league game in over two months. They host the Celts on the 30th of December.
After that, it’s the small matter of the first Celtic Park Glasgow Derby of the season.
