Wilfried Nancy’s results are under intense scrutiny…
So it’s little that his job feels under pressure already, given that he has lost three out of three since becoming Celtic’s permanent manager.
Replacing Martin O’Neill was never going to be an easy task, given how he strengthened his already-legendary status with seven wins in eight.
But Nancy’s first week was a nightmare, and fans will be watching Wednesday’s trip to Dundee United with very little patience.
The 47-year-old has been speaking to the media ahead of his first away match in charge of Celtic, and was asked to address one of his particularly controversial comments.
Does Wilfried Nancy have the belief of the Celtic players?
Celtic manager Wilfried Nancy on infamous comments about winning
The way that Nancy speaks about winning has been in stark contrast to O’Neill.
Whilst O’Neill’s mantra was ‘just win’, Nancy’s seems to be a bit less straightforward than that.

He has described himself as not being about winning, saying he seeks to go ‘beyond winning’.
He was asked to expand on this at his pre-match press conference on Tuesday.
Nancy said: “It’s a bit difficult for me to say that, because for the moment I haven’t won. But when we win, it’s gonna be the same.
“It will not change for me, because my job is to make the team better when we win, and also when we lose.
“‘Beyond winning’ is, like I said, we all want to win games. We all want to win games, and I want to win games. I would like for the players to win games, just to validate what we do.
“But again, this is not talking about, ‘win’. What do you have to do to win? For the moment we haven’t won, so it’s that we have to do certain things to do better.
“But the way we do it, we are on a good step to maximise our chance to win. So that’s why I’m talking about ‘beyond winning’.
“Because the winning part? It’s here. We have to win. We know that. Do you understand what I’m saying? So now, is it possible to go beyond winning? What do we do to win?
“Like I said, in the second half, we could’ve played with more personality. I think we could’ve adjusted certain things. So the ‘how’ is important.
“And with the ‘how’, the better way, the consequence is winning. So that’s why, for me, I want to go beyond winning.
“This is my explanation for that.”
