Chris Sutton has a knack of almost always being right with his Celtic and Rangers predictions.
The former Celtic striker annoys the support from Ibrox but has the respect from the Hoops fans because whenever he delivers his opinion, Sutton generally tries to be unbiased with his opinion.
Yes, there is an element of back and forth with his Sky Sports co-presenter, Kris Boyd, but in general, the Celtic legend is normally spot on with his critiques and praise of both clubs.
When Rangers’ season ended prematurely last season, Boyd went on a rant about his old club as Celtic sealed three titles in a row. And Sutton expertly reminded him of that yesterday.

Chris Sutton’s six-word reminder to Kris Boyd on Celtic rant about Rangers
At the end of last season, Kris Boyd went on a rant about Rangers as Celtic’s domination of Scottish football continued.
The ex-Rangers man had a bit of back-and-forth with Sutton and the big Englishman reminded him of what he said with a superb social media reply.
Boyd said at the time, “This club’s built on winning championships. It is.”
Sutton: “Not in recent times.”
Boyd: “But it has. Still won the most.”
Sutton: “Give it a year.”
And after Sky Sports superbly posted a windup reminder to Boyd, Sutton said on X, “I hate saying I was right but…”
The superb rants as Kris Boyd shows his pain over Celtic dominating Rangers
This isn’t the first time Boyd has shown his pain over Celtic’s success over the years.
In Celtic’s win over Livingston last season, Boyd had a meltdown over a penalty claim Celtic were denied as Sutton and Robert Snodgrass shut down his ramblings.
Another penalty call and another Kris Boyd Celtic rant as the Sky Sports pundit took issue with an award against Kilmarnock where the Killie goalkeeper rattled Kyogo and the Hoops were denied yet another spot kick.
And finally, not a rant, but an admission from Boyd about Celtic’s title win last season where he sounded defeated as he reflected on Rangers bottling it at Ross County and Dundee after the 3-3 moral victory at Ibrox.
No doubt there will be more rants from the former Rangers man but recently, he has been posted missing as Sky Sports get on with covering Celtic’s recent title win without him.
