Charlie Mulgrew was only metres away from Celtic’s majority shareholder Dermot Desmond at a recent golf tournament.
The ex-Hoops defender currently runs a YouTube channel called Mulgrew Pitch to Par where he uploads interviews with former teammates while playing a round of scramble golf.
He offered subscribers a different kind of video last week which showed him vlogging and interviewing big-name stars at the Alfred Dunhill Links Championship.
Mulgrew spoke to ex-tennis star Andy Murray, actor and comedian Bill Murray, and golf major winners Dustin Johnson and Bubba Watson.
Celtic owner Desmond was also in attendance and took part in the tournament he won last year with Thorbjorn Olesen.

Mulgrew ‘would have crapped himself’ interviewing Desmond
Desmond can be seen teeing off at St Andrews Old Course on Mulgrew’s video, but the ex-Celtic star decided not to seek out the Irish billionaire for interview.
He is currently under fire from Celtic supporters at the moment due to a disastrous summer transfer window and a failure to qualify for the Champions League.
Mulgrew was asked by The Go Radio Football Show host Paul Cooney on Thursday: “Did you see Dermot Desmond up at the golf?”
Mulgrew: “Yep I saw him, I saw him.”
Cooney: “Did you have a chance for a chat?”
Mulgrew: “Naw, naw. He’s not interested in chatting to me.”
Billy Dodds: “Would you have asked him the tough questions, Charlie, no?”
Mulgrew: “Naw, I’d have crapped myself! I’d have crapped myself aye. I’ve gave it the big yin a few times on Premier (Sports) when the manager’s coming out and I’ve got a question, but then a bottle it.
“And I’m thinking: ‘Stop it, get the questions asked!’ It’s suppose where I can get better.”
Neil Lennon hails Desmond in recent interview
Celtic legend Neil Lennon is currently manager of Dunfermline Athletic and was present at East End Park for an interview with The Scottish Sun recently.
And despite the backlash Desmond has received of late from many Celtic fans, Lennon showered the Irishman with the utmost praise.
Lennon said: “Dermot is a genius, for me. Not just from a sporting point of view, but an intellectual point of view.
“He’s very successful, hugely successful, probably the most successful man I’ve ever come across, in terms of what he’s earned and generated and built in his career.
“He’s on an intellectual level of no one else I’ve ever come across. He is very forward thinking, always looking to the future.
“He is very proactive, I have to say, in supporting Irish sportsmen, whether it be football, golf or Gaelic football. He loves his sport and he loves Celtic.”
