Tom Rogic has addressed the Celtic fanbase after he was announced as one of the players for an upcoming legends match.
The Celtic FC Foundation will host Celtic Legends vs Manchester Legends at Parkhead on September 6 and a whole host of former stars will take to the field.
Goalkeepers Joe Hart and Artur Boruc will be in the squad, while Efe Ambrose, Charlie Mulgrew, Shaun Maloney and Gary Hooper are just some of the other names.
But perhaps what is most exciting is the return of Rogic, who is looking forward to playing at Celtic Park for the first time since his departure.

Rogic on playing for Celtic Legends vs Man Utd Legends
Rogic played his final game for Celtic in May 2022 after a trophy-laden nine years at the club. The Wizard of Oz won a staggering 16 major trophies with the Hoops across 273 appearances.
He is most remembered for scoring the winning goal in the 2017 Scottish Cup final that secured the Invincible Treble for the Bhoys.
Rogic has been speaking to Celtic’s official website about the upcoming legends match and has called on Hoops fans to support the event.
He also revealed that he hasn’t slipped on his football boots since retiring professionally in 2023! Rogic said: “I’m really looking forward to coming to Glasgow for the Legends Charity Match.
‘I haven’t been back since I left the club, so the opportunity to return and play at Celtic Park once again is very exciting. There are also a lot of familiar faces I’m looking forward to seeing.’
“It will be amazing to play at the stadium again in front of the incredible Celtic supporters. The club was such a huge part of my career and also my life, so coming back and being able to play in front of the fans again feels a little surreal but it’s something I really can’t wait for.
“I haven’t actually laced up a pair of boots since I retired, though, so it should make for an interesting day!
“The prospect of facing Manchester United is also one that I am really looking forward to. I know a lot of the Bhoys played in the match down at Old Trafford and we’re hoping for another good performance at Celtic Park, though it won’t be easy, as they’ll have some great players.
“It’ll no doubt be a great occasion, with two footballing powerhouse clubs coming together for a great cause.
“I’m sure, as always, that the Celtic supporters will come out in their numbers to get behind the match and it’s really important that they do so, as the funds raised will make a big difference to those most in need.
“The work that the foundation do is phenomenal, so it’s a privilege to be involved and hopefully together we can raise lots of money.”
