Celtic midfielder Olivier Ntcham is starting to show why the club signed him.
Despite his comments in the early summer, Ntcham was welcomed back into the team.
There were fans who didn’t like his words and neither did Neil Lennon. Nevertheless, Ntcham is sticking out in his game time so far this season.
Olivier Ntcham has a lot to do at Celtic
Overall, the French under 23 international’s career is on a knife edge.

His poor comments about the quality around him put a lot of eyes on him.
Ntcham had a below par season and didn’t stick out whatsoever. The 23-year-old looked disinterested and a show of the player that arrived in the season before.
So, this season if Ntcham isn’t hitting the heights, he will only be moved on.
Failing at Celtic will not go well with the bigger clubs he has his sight on.
Furthermore, his poor attitude and comments will speak volumes to any top manager worth their sort.
Lennon is giving Ntcham another chance to prove himself.

He has a lot to do to play into the Irishman’s plans and must be content with space on the bench.
However, his little game time is allowing Ntcham to show what he can do.
Olivier Ntcham changing games so far
Last night against Cluj, the introduction of Ntcham helped Celtic over the line.
The game was tipping in either way, but Ntcham calmed down the storm.
Lewis Morgan was struggling and Boli Bolingoli was having a nightmare while on a yellow card.

Ntcham’s influence was massive as Forrest went to cover Morgan and helped defensively. Meanwhile the Frenchman shored up the midfield and got the team moving up the pitch.
Likewise, at the weekend, Ntcham’s goal and assist against St Johnstone from the bench showed what he’s worth.
Motherwell at the weekend will be another difficult one at Fir Park. I expect Ntcham to start and kick on to help some tired legs.
However, it he appears from the bench again, he will only continue to repay the fans for his early outburst.
