One man who won’t be facing Celtic manager Brendan Rodgers this season is Sean Dyche.
With Rangers looking for a new manager, several names have been doing the rounds, including Steven Gerrard rejecting a return to Ibrox.
Dyche’s name did pop up, but it has been suggested that the former Burnley and Everton coach doesn’t want to manage in Scotland, according to Sky Sports.
With Celtic dominating in Scotland, and Rodgers having played a huge part in that, he was being compared to Dyche by Jamie O’Hara and Jason Cundy.

Speaking on Open Goal, O’Hara thinks, if Dyche were to come up to Scotland, he would ‘win the league’, and Cundy agreed with his fellow pundit.
But Si Ferry and Paul Slane were having none of the nonsense coming from the talkSPORT duo, as they were constantly asked who the better manager is between Rodgers and Dyche.
O’Hara: “I like Sean Dyche, I think he is a great manager. He would win the Scottish league. He would come up here.”
Slane: “Who is a better manager? Brendan Rodgers or Sean Dyche.”
Ferry: “Brendan Rodgers.”
O’Hara: “Sean Dyche would come up here and win the league.”
Cundy: “100%.”
Slane: “Who is a better manager? Brendan Rodgers or Sean Dyche?”
O’Hara: “You say that, but Sean Dyche has been around for a long time.”
Ferry: “So has Brendan Rodgers. What kind of argument is that?”
O’Hara: “He has been sacked a lot.”
Ferry: “So has Sean Dyche.”
O’Hara: “He has only been sacked once.”
Cundy: “These two are so protective.”
Ferry: “You think Sean Dyche is a better manager than Brendan Rodgers?”
Cundy: “Let me tell you now, if Sean Dyche was your manager, you would be saying the exact opposite. You are a hypocrite.”
Ferry: “I would hate to watch Sean Dyche football up here.”
Slane: “You can’t sit there and say, ‘he’s a better manager than Rodgers.’ No way. You don’t even believe that.”
O’Hara: “I think Brendan is a good manager, but I think Sean Dyche would come up here and win the league.”
