Japanese club publish stunning tribute to Celtic star Kyogo; forward responds
Japanese side Vissel Kobe have published a YouTube video in tribute to Celtic star Kyogo Furuhashi this week, showcasing all 42 of his league goals scored for the club.
Kyogo became a hero with Vissel, netting 49 goals in all competitions from just 111 appearances.
His full repertoire is on display in this 20-minute long video, scoring with his left foot, right foot, from close range, from distance and with his head. You can watch it below or via this link.
It seems the player himself is honoured by the compilation, taking to social media last night to share a number of bowing emojis in appreciation.
Kyogo has started at Celtic in a similarly impressive fashion. In fact, he seems to be thriving even more in Scotland and the Europa League if anything.
Yet, from watching this 42-goal compilation, you get the sense we might have only scratched the surface in terms of his finishing ability and how he can punish teams.
With a bit of rest over the next few weeks after a solid year of almost constant football in 2021, Kyogo may be more impressive in the second half of the season.
There’ll be further optimisation of the team in the transfer market too that could create even more opportunities for him. Ange Postecoglou will have massive plans for his Japanese forward in 2022.
I’m very excited to see how it all pans out!
In other news, Finally a bit of positive injury news out of Celtic.
