Joe Hart has explained why his time at Celtic has been different from his previous clubs.
The goalkeeper was in front of the media on Thursday in the week Celtic‘s non-international stars returned to training.
Hart fielded questions on the departure of Ange Postecoglou, Brendan Rodgers, Kyogo Furuhashi, Rangers goalkeeper Jack Butland and more.
He was also asked about his own future. With just one year remaining on his contract, the question pondered whether Hart felt he had something to prove in order to earn an extension.
“Something to prove? Difficult to say at this time in my career,” he said, as shown on the Celtic YouTube channel.
“I’ve been consistent, I’ve absolutely loved being here. I’ve loved not being in that part of my career where I’m always trying to think of the chess moves.

“If I do this I’m gonna get there. If I do that I’m gonna get there. I don’t do any of that.
“I’m just loving being in the moment. I’m loving representing this club.”
The quotes are really revealing and highlight just how much Hart has enjoyed his time at Celtic — and simply being allowed to play football.
Being Celtic’s number one is no easy task but you get the impression that Hart relishes every day.

Playing for us seems to have been about the enjoyment of being on the pitch again after so long in the wilderness.
At previous clubs he seems to have been thinking about the bigger picture. At Celtic, and this stage of his career, things are much simpler.
Many Celtic fans are of the opinion that the club must upgrade on Hart over the next year. Given the huge presence the goalkeeper has been, and the experience he has, that will be no mean feat.
He’s likely to start off as number one under Rodgers.
