Celtic striker Adam Idah was on the scoresheet for the Republic of Ireland during the international break.
Despite getting most of his minutes from the Celtic bench, Idah is enjoying a relatively decent goalscoring record this season under Brendan Rodgers.
With 14 goals to his name, the Hoops striker has scored in every competition he has appeared in for Celtic as Rodgers chases another treble this season.
However, despite that, it seems that whilst having a good season domestically for Celtic, Idah still has his critics on the international scene with the Republic of Ireland.
After Idah scored Ireland’s winner in the 2-1 win over Bulgaria, Idah silenced his critics with a ‘shush’ celebration.
Reacting to that, Republic of Ireland assistant boss John O’Shea shared whether he thought that was a good idea or not and his answer will please Celtic supporters.

John O’Shea says Celtic striker Adam Idah’s Republic of Ireland goal celebration was ‘good’
Idah’s goal meant that the Republic of Ireland secured their UEFA Nations League status with the double-header win over Bulgaria and O’Shea backed the Celtic striker’s actions towards his international critics.
O’Shea told The Irish Sun, “Good, that’s what we need.
“The best way to answer is when he came on the pitch, score goals and do what you have to do.
“We need competition; we are talking about beating tier-one nations and qualifying for tournaments. We are going to need our strikers scoring goals, and it’s important we have that reaction.”
