With Dundee United up next for Celtic, there needs to be a marked improvement in what Nancy’s team is delivering right now to come away from Tannadice with all three points.

With the team looking dysfunctional, Johnny Kenny has shared if the Celtic dressing room is right behind Nancy as they prepare to take on United in Tayside tomorrow night.

Johnny Kenny says the ‘atmosphere’ around Celtic is ‘very low’
Celtic’s defeat to St Mirren is probably the worst result of Nancy’s first three fixtures as the Hoops boss and Kenny says his teammates are feeling it.
Kenny told Celtic TV, “Obviously the atmosphere on Sunday was very low, but our next challenge comes tomorrow and ultimately we had to put Sunday behind us.
“It wasn’t good enough, but you have no time to wait with a game three days after. So, we just need to focus again on tomorrow.”
With the treble now gone for Celtic, the league title is all that matters now that Hearts are six points ahead at the top of the table.
Kenny shoots down suggestions the Celtic team have ‘turned their back’ on Nancy
There have been plenty of Celtic supporters suggesting that Nancy has lost the dressing room already as the team looks like they don’t understand what the gaffer is telling them.
However, Kenny says that’s not the case as he insists that every player at Celtic is firmly behind the manager.
Kenny continued, “100%, yeah. I don’t think any player in there has turned their back on the manager. It’s not right.
“As professionals, we’re here to do a job and all get behind everyone in this building and we’re all fully in it.

“With big leaders in the dressing room, and this club is built on success, losing games isn’t natural, but we all keep together to focus on the next game and that’s why this club’s been so successful.”
Well, it’s time for Celtic’s ‘big leaders’ to stand up and be counted because if Dundee United turn them over tomorrow night, there will be no hiding place for any of them.
With Hearts six points ahead, nothing but a win will do so these Celtic players better turn that hurt into a performance before the league title goes the same way as the Premier Sports Cup.
