Tom Rogic is back in the spotlight after making his move to West Bromwich Albion and published his first Instagram post in almost four months today, receiving support from former Celtic teammates.
Rogic’s summer was a quiet one, by design. He withdrew from the public eye to consider his future and make the right decision for himself and his young family.
He’s delighted with his choice of club, stating on the social media website: “Very happy to have signed for West Bromich Albion and to start a new chapter in my career. Looking forward to the season ahead.”

Former Celtic teammates such as Scott Brown, Josip Juranovic, Erik Sviatchenko and Scott Bain were amongst those to show support in the comments. Rogic was a popular member of the dressing room, so that’s no real surprise.
Juranovic’s ‘Messi’ praise for Rogic goes back to last season when the Croatian became instantly impressed with the kind of skill the Australian is capable of with the ball.
Rogic now has the chance to get regular football under his belt before the World Cup, which will have been a key consideration for him in choosing a destination.
Steve Bruce indicated in a press conference today that Baggies fans might be waiting on a Rogic start given his lack of full match fitness, but we know Rogic is adept at making an impact from the bench.
Rogic remains an icon of the Celtic support, so the vast majority will be hoping to see him do well in the English second-tier and add to his already impressive highlights reel.
The very best of luck to him!
