It’s the big one for Celtic as it’s judgement day in their request to remain in the Champions League this season.
Bayern Munich hold a 2-1 lead over Celtic and the champions of Scotland would need to win by a two-goal margin or more to quality inside 120 minutes.
However, just winning the game during that time could also send the Champions League playoff tie to penalties.
Either way, Celtic and Brendan Rodgers are fully aware that they have their work cut out and there are no corners to cut here.
But, at the end of the day, you are playing in Europe’s elite competition, so nothing is meant to be easy as Kasper Schmeichel needs to have the game of his life.
Celtic’s number one did what he could in the first leg, but his heroics are going to be needed more than ever before and he reacted to the noise coming out of the Bayern camp.

Kasper Schmeichel reacts to Harry Kane missing Bayern Munich training ahead of Celtic game
Harry Kane’s goal from a corner is, so far, proving to be the difference between the two and Celtic simply can’t provide him with that space again.
But, ahead of the match, Kane missed Bayern training because of a facial injury and that was put forward to the man in between Celtic’s sticks.
Schmeichel told Celtic TV that Kane ‘will play’ and how knowing the player he ‘can’t imagine’ it would be otherwise.
“He will play [smiles],” said Schmeichel with a chuckle. “Listen, I know Harry (Kane) from our time together at Leicester and I have played against him so many times that I can’t imagine he wouldn’t play”

Schmeichel will respect Kane and what he has done in his goal-crazy career, but he might be the one who is sick and tired of seeing the Bayern star more than anyone else.
That’s because of the record Kane added to when he netted at Celtic Park last Wednesday night.

That’s a crazy amount of goals Kane has against one keeper and if Celtic can keep him quiet at the Allianz Arena, then things could become very interesting.
But you also need to factor in the fact that the 31-year-old also has ten assists to his name this term.
