Kasper Schmeichel has shared footage from Celtic’s celebrations after their win over Motherwell.
The goalkeeper has likely played his final game for the club after a devastating injury blow was confirmed to be ruling him out for at least nine months.
Criticism has come his way from some Celtic fans for his lack of visibility around the club since his injury, though he was in attendance in Wednesday night’s win at Fir Park.
Fans spilled onto the pitch after Kelechi Iheanacho’s dramatic winner.

Kasper Schmeichel: Celtic celebrations vs Motherwell ‘absolutely incredible’

He also wrote on his story: “Never count this team out”.
It has been a hectic season for Schmeichel, who was even booed by Celtic fans on the day when his devastating injury was sustained.
Reflecting on this, he recently told Celtic TV: “I’m a sensitive guy. I hear a lot of stuff and I feed off that energy without question, both positive and negative.
“But the energy that the fans can bring is so important. Like when you play at Celtic Park and they are with you, you’re unstoppable.
“You know, I can honestly say you stand in that goal and you feel the atmosphere, you feel the drive. I’d hate to be an opposition player there because that is the ultimate weapon Celtic have.
“That unity, that support when all that is buzzing. You’ve won before you even go on the pitch practically because it’s absolutely everything.
“You know, you talked about you saw me in in Washington. I’d always known about Celtic. I’d obviously knew Joe [Hart] and playing here and all that, but it wasn’t until I went to Washington and the amount of fans outside the hotel and wow, yeah, this is major.
“Being part of a club with that kind of stature in the world. That that’s something I’m immensely proud of.”

The timeline of Kasper Schmeichel’s Celtic injury
This all started in Denmark’s Nations League tie against Portugal last March, which saw Schmeichel remain on the pitch despite breaking his shoulder.
He did not undergo surgery and returned to Celtic training early. He made the starting XI for the Scottish Cup Final, making a fatal error which allowed Aberdeen to win the trophy on penalties.
This became a theme. Schmeichel’s form has taken a sharp downturn this season, with the Dane clearly not operating anywhere near the levels he was in his stellar first nine months in Glasgow.
There are now serious questions over whether he will ever play again, for club or country.
