There has been a lot of chatter surrounding Arsenal defender, Kieran Tierney making a potential return to Celtic this month.
The Scotland fullback has made no secret of the fact that he would one day like to return to Parkhead and ever since Arsenal decided not to renew Tierney’s contract, the rumours have been rife that it could actually happen.
Mikel Arteta addressed the Celtic rumours this week and said that there is no update as Tierney remains an Arsenal player. For now.
However, there have been a lot of doubters believing that Celtic would be taking a risk in having Tierney back due to his injury history but the stats the defender has racked up at Arsenal simply do not back that theory up.
Kieran Tierney’s Arsenal stats Celtic fans need to be aware of
Everyone is aware of Kieran Tierney’s injury issues and because of that, there is a narrative that he has not made many first-team appearances for Arsenal since he left Celtic in 2019.

It seems that that narrative is not correct as 67 Hail Hail did a bit of digging into the Celtic hero’s Arsenal past and what he has done at the Premier League club will surprise the fans and prove his doubters wrong.
| Appearances | Season 19/20 | Season 20/21 | Season 21/22 | Season 22/23 | Season 23/24 |
| Kieran Tierney | 24: 71mins per game | 38: 77mins per game | 25: 86mins per game | 36: 40mins per game | 26: 57mins per game (at Real Sociedad) |
Even his season-long loan at Real Sociedad provided Tierney with big-game experience as he turned out against the likes of Real Madrid, Barcelona and Valencia and more than held his own.
