Celtic have their fair share of well-known admirers around the world whether that be from inside footballing circles or beyond.
Possessing one of the most unique brands in world football, the Bhoys attract a wealth of attention across the globe that few other clubs can dream of emulating.
Looking at more recent times, Tottenham Hotspur star Archie Gray confessed his love for Celtic during the summer, attributing his ‘massive’ passion for the club to his father’s Scottish side of the family.

Outside of football, Lewis Capaldi, Billy Connolly and Rod Stewart are all died in the wool Celtic supporters. Meanwhile, the likes of Oasis and Snoop Dogg have been spotted wearing the famous green and white in the past.
Taking a step back into the beautiful game, the Hoops’ latest aficionado comes from an unexpected source, it is fair to say.
Lamine Yamal’s father wears Celtic tracksuit
Taking to Instagram, Barcelona superstar Lamine Yamal’s father Mounir Nasraoui can be seen sporting the new Celtic Origins threads in his latest Instagram post, which has provided quite the element of surprise among supporters on social media.
There is no secret that Celtic and Barcelona share a little bit of a bond due to several reasons, the most obvious one being Henrik Larsson, who was a hero for both clubs.
However, an image of Yamal’s Dad wearing merchandise of the reigning Scottish Premiership champions wouldn’t have been on many people’s bingo cards this morning.
Hopefully, he can put a good word in and see if his son would fancy the challenge of pulling on the famous Hoops at some point down the line in his career!
Celtic are a global brand that are always recognised
In all seriousness, as intriguing as Yamal’s father having some form of admiration for Celtic will be classed as, it does show how wide the global reach of the club is beyond Scottish and Irish shores.
It is common knowledge that the Bhoys have a large following Stateside and in corners of the southern hemisphere such as Australia and New Zealand, but it would only be fair to assume mainland Europe is also an area where admirers can be found amid their regular involvement in the Champions League.
Being a big club comes with it’s perks, and rest assured, the Barcelona star’s father won’t be the only one out there aware of the Bhoys in Green.
