Blackburn Rovers expect to be backed by around 1,500 away supporters at tomorrow’s pre-season friendly at Celtic Park.
The club revealed the numbers on their official website last night, suggesting that ticket sales have been strong against the allocation given in the stadium’s southeast corner.
Celtic have been charging Rovers fans between £7 and £16 for the encounter, with under-13s able to attend for just £5.

Earlier today, the Bhoys announced the home allocation had also sold out, with the game available at no additional cost to season ticket holders.
In reality, there will be plenty of empty seats due to some season ticket holders being unable to attend. We witnessed this last year even when the club announced sellouts for league matches.
However, an exciting atmosphere can still be generated with many fans very excited to see Ange Postecoglou’s side in the flesh for the first time since trophy day in May.
That’s especially true if Rovers are bringing a strong group to cheer on Jon Dahl Tomasson’s side, who have been in Scotland all week.
The English Championship side fielded a youthful team against Dundee at Dens Park on Wednesday night, drawing 1-1.
Tomasson has since indicated it will be a far stronger eleven going up against Celtic, with the players who sat out Wednesday night having already gone through tough sessions on Tuesday.

All of this will suit Postecoglou who has been very open about his desire to play friendly matches in front of decent crowds this summer, as it better replicates the kind of tests the squad will face when competitive games start.
Fingers crossed for a brilliant day at Paradise!
