Celtic should be fearful and not feeling fortunate that Felipe Caicedo is injured for Lazio.
Chances are the hitman will miss Thursday’s crunch Europa League tie in Rome. Caicedo is facing some time out with a shoulder injury from the 1-2 win against AC Milan.
This will only allow Seria A top scorer Ciro Immobile to come in and replace him.
Felipe Caicedo injury can help Lazio against Celtic
The 31-year-old is a starter for the Italians and played in the first match at Celtic Park.

He linked up well with his teammates and played fantastic one touch football.
Some Celtic fans rightly are rubbing their hands at the Caicedo injury because of that. However, his absence will only allow Immobile a chance to start and Hoops fans should fear that more.
He is the top scorer in the league and miraculously was rested until the second half at Parkhead. Perhaps he is being rested for the big league games or Simone Inzaghi is looking down on Celtic.
Lazio have more of a chance of scoring and winning with Immobile on the pitch than Caicedo.

It remains to see how much damage the 29-year-old will inflict on Celtic, but he is a shoe in to score. Despite an injury scare for Immobile, he will be fit for the game.
What is for sure though, is that Caicedo isn’t the only player set to miss out on Thursday evening.
Italian squad player will also miss Hoops clash
Another man that will miss out is right-winger Adam Marusic.
The 27-year-old Serbian is experiencing a “muscular problem” according to Italian outlet Sportface.it.

He is going to be assessed by medics but is expected to miss out the Celtic match this week.
Maurusic has played six games this season for Lazio in the league. He wouldn’t be expected to start the match against Celtic but would be expected to come off the bench for attacking firepower.
