Welsh side Llanelli Town have unveiled a new kit inspired by Celtic and Jock Stein.
The Cymru South side’s away kit for the coming season features a green and white hooped shirt, green shorts and green socks.
Llanelli made the announcement on their Twitter feed on Wednesday evening, including a 70 second video telling the story of Stein.
The iconic figure played for the south Wales side between 1950 and 1951 before finding his way to Celtic where he went on to become arguably the club’s greatest manager.
Stein passed away in Cardiff in September 1985 at the age of 62.
An accompanying club statement from Llanelli included some quotes from commercial manager Jordan Fox.

He said: “There were a few different away kits chosen by the committee but I wanted to choose something that felt special for the club.
“After some thought we chose to link it to the legend Jock Stein with this Celtic inspired kit – in hope to raise the club’s stature and brand.
“We want to grow the club on an international scale. We have many groundhoppers who visit Stebonheath Park from all over the UK and even Europe.
“It’s all about marketing to a wide audience as well as providing our own supporters with a stunning new away kit.”
So it’s a bit of a marketing move in truth. But it’s still a nice gesture to a legend of the game.

The idea has gone down pretty well too, with the tweet earning plenty of engagement amongst the Celtic support.
Perhaps it will entice the odd Hoops fans to venture to a Llanelli Town game this season. Or even to purchase the kit and wear it to Celtic Park.
It’s nice to know our iconic colours are being worn by another team. Even if it is just their away kit and they play in the lower divisions of Welsh football.
