The transfer window is in full swing and Celtic are busy adding and moving players on.
So far, Celtic’s summer transfer window includes six players being added to the squad and 11 being allowed to move on permanently to pursue their careers elsewhere.
With plenty of time left, Celtic manager Brendan Rodgers will be hard at work hoping to add more quality to his squad ahead of the big season kick-off.
However, one manager who is delighted at doing transfer business with Celtic this week is over the moon as he reveals how he managed to keep his capture of a talented Parkhead youngster a ‘secret’.

Rotherham United delighted with the capture of former Celtic talent Lenny Agbaire
We told earlier this morning how former Celtic Academy talent Lenny Agbaire quietly joined Rotherham United this week.
After signing his three-year deal, Millers manager Matt Hamshaw immediately threw Agbaire into the first-team as he made his debut in a 3-0 win over Harrogate Town last night.
And it appears that the deal was well in the making as Hamshaw reveals how he kept the transfer a secret.
Hamshaw told Rotherham United’s club media channel, “I thought they were both [Agbaire and Kian Spence] excellent. Obviously, both a bit rusty, understandably.
“Lenny’s kind of taken a little while with paperwork etc. So it’s been really drawn out. So we’ve, believe it or not, had him here a while.
“We’ve done well to kind of keep it a secret as long as we have. We had him here obviously out in Portugal with us.
“So he’s only been able to do individual work with us. So, I think you saw him a little bit rusty tonight, but I also thought you saw his skills.
“He’s got the size, he’s got the pace, he’s 20, so he’s only going to get better.”
Lenny Agbaire’s Celtic before Rotherham United move
Agbaire never made a single first-team appearance for Celtic but was heavily involved in the youth team’s successes.
Winning the Scottish Youth Cup in 2023, the young defender was also a reliable and stable part of the Celtic B team.
Agbaire also made 16 appearances for Scott Brown’s Ayr United as he impressed the Celtic icon in a short loan spell last season.
And it appears that he has already made a great first impression on Hamshaw as the former Celtic kid looks to kick his career on at the League One side.
