A lot of Celtic supporters appear to be at the end of their tether with Wilfried Nancy.
The latest performance and defeat in Celtic’s loss to St Mirren at Hampden has shredded some supporters’ last nerve with the Frenchman.
Nancy has overseen three defeats and watched his Celtic team score just one goal in his first three games but it appears, right now, that his team don’t really know what they are doing.
Is this the end for Wilfried Nancy?
However, Martin O’Neill has responded to calls from fans that Nancy should be sacked with a passionate plea to the Celtic support.

Martin O’Neill says Wilfried Nancy cannot be judged at Celtic ‘over three games’
Some Celtic fans have seen enough in the defeats to Hearts, Roma and St Mirren and want him removed from his position.
But that is not a view shared by Celtic legend O’Neill.
O’Neill told talkSPORT, “No, you cannot make a judgement on anybody over three games. And I don’t care about the matches. The matches were difficult.
“Roma was going to be a difficult game, whether you’re playing at home or not.
“You know, Hearts was the top of the table clash, and a cup final. A cup final is a cup final.
“You have got to give a manager some time.”
How many games will Nancy have to save his Celtic career?
Nancy is on borrowed time in the eyes of much of the Celtic support and as the busy festive schedule gets into full swing, how many games does Nancy get to turn this around?
Here are the Celtic boss’ next five fixtures:
- Wednesday 17th December: Dundee Utd vs Celtic
- Sunday 21st December: Celtic vs Aberdeen
Who is to blame for the recent run of results? Tell us why you voted for that choice
- Saturday 27th December: Livingston vs Celtic
- Tuesday 30th December: Motherwell vs Celtic
- Saturday 3rd January: Celtic vs Rangers
There is a very real argument that Nancy might not even see the Rangers game if he drops points in any of the four games before the Glasgow Derby.
Will the Frenchman get the time he needs? It all depends what happens against Dundee United at Tannadice on Wednesday night.
