Celtic’s work in recent transfer windows has been nothing short of excellent.
The club coffers suggest the Hoops have managed their finances terrifically and that has allowed for the record signings of Arne Engels and Adam Idah in the summer window.
Matt O’Riley was the latest to be sold for huge money while records have been consistently broken by the Scottish giants who have raked in stacks of cash for their top players over the years.

The potentially returning Kieran Tierney left for £25million, as did Jota, while Moussa Dembele and Odsonne Edouard both closed in on the £20m mark respectively.
Nicolas Kuhn is one Celtic star attracting interest and he will likely – down the line – go for similar numbers but it’s another player inside the changing room who has been touted as the next big sale should the club decide to cash-in.
Michael Stewart reckons it’s defender Cameron Carter-Vickers who could land Celtic another transfer bundle.
Carter-Vickers has been linked to Bayer Leverkusen within the January market with the Bundesliga heavyweights keeping a close eye on the big American.
Cameron Carter-Vickers could be Celtic’s next £25m sale
And Stewart is adamant the 27-year-old former Tottenham Hotspur centre-half would command a serious fee should Brendan Rodgers sanction what would surely be an unlikely sale next month.
“Realistically, Celtic are in such a good financial position that you start talking for their main assets I would be surprised if they entertain anything less than £20-25million,” Stewart told Premier Sports’ Scottish football social club show.
“That’s the position that Celtic are in.
“Cameron Carter-Vickers is at a great age, he has developed into a fantastic defender and it would probably take the likes of Bayer Leverkusen or a big club on the continent to prise him away from Celtic with a big transfer fee.
Who are Celtic’s most expensive transfer sales?
“For Celtic, they’re in a situation where January I just don’t see them willing to do any sort of business and losing a player like that.
“Obviously, Matt O’Riley went in the summer.
Celtic’s most expensive transfer sales
Matt O’Riley – Brighton – £30million
Jota – Al-Ittihad – £25million
Kieran Tierney – Arsenal – £25million
Moussa Dembele – Lyon – £19million
Odsonne Edouard – Crystal Palace – £16million
“I think they’re in that situation where they will let players move on.
“They’re not going to stop them from going to you know a top European side if that’s what they wish but it’ll be done when they want it to happen which would be the summertime.”
