The gap between Celtic and Rangers has never been as huge as it is now.
On the pitch, Celtic’s trophy count has been growing year on year until the point that now, the Parkhead club is officially Scotland’s most successful team.
Off the park, Celtic’s financial power is unmatched. Recording £26.9m of pre-tax profit and with £64.5m in the bank, the Hoops are set to dominate Scottish football for many more years to come.
Which is why when Neil Lennon was asked about his thoughts about the gap between the Bhoys and Rangers, the former Celtic boss was quick to shoot down what he’s heard people say about it.

Neil Lennon tells Rangers there is no gap to Celtic, it’s a ‘chasm’
Lennon told BBC Sport Scotland, “It’s a chasm. Everyone talks about a rebuild. For me, it’s a change of culture and psychology, really, more than anything else.
“I think they’ve got some good players there, but obviously the psychology of the team isn’t right. They do well when they are not expected to do well, and when they are expected, to win games, they can’t do it.
“So that needs to change. And I think they have to get things right domestically first and foremost before they think about anything else because if they go out to Fenerbache in the Europa League, the season’s done, you know, and we’re only in March.”
