New Adidas Celtic kit hits shops
Celtic supporters are finally able to get their hands on the new Adidas Celtic kit today with deliveries hitting doorsteps and shops selling the gear.
One of the harbingers of a new season is always the release of the replica kits and this season the club are leading with a black, green and white pinstripe away top reminiscent of a 1990s classic.
The club unveiled the new colours a couple of weeks ago but fans have had to wait for the official release, which came today.
There were busy scenes at the Celtic Superstore adjacent to Celtic Park earlier this morning, with fans piling in to buy the kit for themselves and their loved ones.
Many were also getting names and numbers printed on the back.
The unveiling of the new home kit won’t be far away with images already leaking online showing the traditional green and white hoops, with silver Adidas detailing and a ‘shark teeth’ design in the green.
That’ll be next up for the club this summer, with a third kit also planned for release later this year.
The Adidas partnership with Celtic has been a strong one for both parties, with not only replica tops flying off the shelves but also training gear and the general Celtic-themed fashion range.
In fact, special lines have been created over the last couple of years owing to Celtic fans’ hunger for new looks and merchandise from the German company.
It looks like it will be another strong showing this summer on that front, based on the early buzz surrounding this top.
