Liel Abada has made a change in agency representation, leaving behind Dudu Dahan who helped facilitate his move to Celtic from Maccabi Petah Tikva.

Football Scotland reports that Abada has opted to leave Dahan’s group to join up with teammate Josip Juranovic’s agent Hussein Al Gaaod at FSB.

Al Gaaod represents a number of high-profile European players, including Real Madrid superstar Antonio Rudiger.

Transfer noise around Josip Juranovic has been pretty fierce over the last few months, so it’ll be interesting to note if that’s been agent-led and we see an increase in speculation about Abada.

His form certainly warrants a bit of hype. The Israeli youngster has scored an impressive number of goals since arriving at Celtic, and he recently made himself a true hero with the support by punishing Rangers in a 4-0 drubbing.

This change of agent represents a new era in his career. No longer is he merely an up-and-coming player, he’s ready to establish himself as a bonafide star at Celtic.

That, in turn, will surely open up new career opportunities – whether it is a lucrative new contract in time at the Bhoys, or a switch to a more illustrious league.

Either way, it’s no bad thing that Abada has big motivations. It should only help improve his form in the short and medium term as he looks to fully establish himself as one of the first names on Ange Postecoglou’s teamsheet.
