North Curve Celtic have been pretty quiet in recent weeks, but they’re now looking forward to the start of the competitive action.

Celtic will get their new Premiership campaign underway in less than nine days when Ross County visit the home of the champions.

It’ll be a big afternoon as a packed Celtic Park gets the second Brendan Rodgers era properly started.

It’s a big day for the ‘fan collective’ too, and they’re encouraging more supporters to join their group. North Curve Celtic currently represents over 1,000 Celtic fans in the standing section. (Green Brigade)

They are keen to recruit more members who stand in that area and say that sign-ups will be open for the August 5 clash inside the stadium. (North Curve Celtic tweet)

The group, which encompasses the the Green Brigade ultras, have done so much good for Celtic both during and away from match days.

They have raised significant money for charity and fought for causes that matter to the Celtic support.

However, their most stunning work has arguably been saved for their visual stadium displays.

The North Curve planned and carried out two full stadium displays at Celtic Park last season — both against Aberdeen on Flag Day and Trophy Day.

On top of that, they had numerous other smaller tifos, including the below cracker before our Champions League return against Real Madrid.

This coming season we can look forward to more of the same, both at home and away. The group were critical of Brendan Rodgers’ return to the club on Twitter but most fans will now hope that they can get behind the team in their usual awe-inspiring way.

There has been no announcement about a full stadium display for this season’s Flag Day clash against County. It seems pretty late in the day if they’re planning that.

Perhaps they’re saving it for a big Champions League night. That would be special.
