Nottingham Forest have decided between the two Celtic icons in the running for the job.
The Premier League side sacked Nuno Espirito Santo after tensions behind the scenes spilled out into the public.
Brendan Rodgers and Ange Postecoglou had both been named as early frontrunners for the job and the East Midlands club have come to a conclusion on who they want to take over at the City Ground.

Ange Postecoglou to become the next Nottingham Forest manager
According to David Ornstein, and a variety of other sources, Postecoglou will become the new Forest manager.
A deal has been agreed for the Australian to make a return to the top flight after he was sacked by Tottenham Hotspur; despite winning the Europa League.
Postecoglou is expected to be appointed in time to take charge of the game against Arsenal this weekend and will be joined by several members of his backroom team from his Spurs days.
Brendan Rodgers is going nowhere for now
The news of Postecoglou’s appointment means that Rodgers will be remaining as Celtic manager for some time yet.
Rodgers was linked with the Forest job as question marks over the 52-year-old’s future remain after a disastrous transfer window.
His contract still expires next summer and it seems like the club are no closer to agreeing terms on a new deal, meaning that he could still be poached.
However, after any chances of heading to Forest have been put to bed, all focus is back on Celtic.
