What happened at the Celtic 2025 AGM?

In the build-up to the AGM, the Celtic Fans Collective published a comprehensive list of every board member, explaining why they should be removed from their position.

As the group walked out, those in attendance held up red cards and were heard shouting ‘sack the board’.

I am going to have you apologise to those supporters who have the best interests of the club at heart but I am going to have to draw the meeting to a close.

One shareholder then tried to confront Lawwell, who subsequently called for the meeting to be adjourned by 30 minutes.

Upon return, some shareholders left the meeting, with Lawwell threatening to close the meeting down.

As protests continued, the Celtic chairman then announced that they would be bringing the AGM to an end early.

When will the Celtic 2025 AGM be rescheduled for?

As it stands, no date has been confirmed for when the meeting will be rescheduled for.

No statement has been released by the club either, but that is more than likely expected to change given the events.
