When Celtic visited Kilmarnock at the start of the season, one of the most popular fan chants was born.
The ‘Bella Ciao’ song got its first airing in our Rugby Park win in August, on a roasting hot, glorious day to follow the team.
The tune was first heard in all its glory after Moritz Jenz netted our third in the 5-0 win, with the Chadwick Stand belting it out loud and proud.

The lyrics we’ve grown to love go: “We’re Glasgow Celtic, the best in Scotland, the only team for me and you.”
The chant would go on to define the early part of Celtic’s season from a fan’s perspective.
It was heard at virtually every match up until the World Cup, including in the aftermath of our final Champions League clash against Real Madrid.
It doesn’t get quite as much of an airing nowadays, but it is still a popular one with the Hoops support.
It takes us back to a really enjoyable period at the start of the season. We were all still riding the wave of our first Premiership title under Ange Postecoglou, and had a return to the Champions League on our minds.

All of these months later and the picture is just as positive.
Our first trip to Rugby Park was just our third of the season. Sunday is matchday 32 and another league title has virtually been won in the intervening period.
Now we just need another belting chant to celebrate this upcoming success.
In other news, Ange Postecoglou made his feelings clear on plastic pitches ahead of that last Rugby Park meeting
