Callum Osmand’s Celtic career had just begun to flourish before he was knocked back with a serious injury.

Osmand is expected to be out for several months after being stretchered off against FC Midtjylland.

It was a huge blow for the 19-year-old after he had burst onto the scene under Martin O’Neill.

Everyone is hoping that he will be able to have the same impact under Wilfried Nancy when he returns to the fold, and it seems that he is making some great progress.

The hamstring injury suffered by the forward was a nasty one, and the road to recovery is no doubt going to be long.

As part of his rehabilitation, the 19-year-old has been using oxygen therapy to help accelerate the process.

In an update from Glasgow-based Vida Recovery on TikTok, they revealed that Osmand is now able to walk successfully after just 10 sessions.

He said: “An enormous well done to Callum Osmond!

“After completing 10 sessions of our 2.0 ATA Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT), we are absolutely thrilled to see him walking confidently on his own again.

“Seeing clients like Callum achieve such major milestones is the true highlight of our work. Getting you back to normal—and better—is our mission.

“This commitment to optimal health is what drives us—and why we love connecting with experts like exercise scientist Dean Hepburn. We had a fantastic discussion today on cutting-edge recovery methods and how 2.0 ATA HBOT fits into peak performance and long-term rehabilitation plans.”

Will Callum Osmand return before the end of the season?

There is a chance we could see the youngster involved again before the end of the season.

Having suffered the setback in November, it is likely that he would be out for anywhere between four to six months.

That may give him a slim chance of playing a part in the final run of games, but it will ultimately depend on how he recovers over the coming months.
