The Celtic board are rightly under huge criticism.
After a disastrous summer transfer window which saw Celtic scrambling for new signings with just hours until the deadline, fans have had enough.
Supporter groups and organisations have rallied to sign an open letter to the Celtic board, asking them seven key questions that hold them accountable.
But the Hoops board responded with an out of touch, tone-deaf statement that has only riled up fans even more, with the Green Brigade calling it ‘condescending’.
Everyone on the Celtic board is culpable to a lesser or greater extent, but one fan singled out chairman Peter Lawwell.

Celtic fan ‘very unfairly’ singles out Peter Lawwell
On Clyde 1 Superscoreboard, a Celtic fan rang up to criticise Peter Lawwell exclusively, which pundit Gordon Dalziel was having none of.
Of course, Lawwell is coming under fire for good reason, but Dalziel said it is unfair to single the Celtic chairman out entirely for what has happened of late.
Dalziel said: “I don’t think this is just down to one person. You can’t just throw everything at Peter Lawwell’s door here.
“Peter Lawwell has been a massive part of Celtic when they were winning trophy after trophy after trophy.
“Peter Lawwell has been a part of the Celtic board when they’re selling players for massive amounts of money, and everybody’s saying that Celtic are a well-run club.
“They’ve had a terrible summer, but we’re not privy to what happens at Celtic with the board situation. So I think it’s very unfair to throw everything at one certain person.
“I don’t think that’s fair on Peter Lawwell.”
CEO Michael Nicholson arguably more at fault
Lawwell is not involved in Celtic’s transfer dealings directly as chairman, with CEO Michael Nicholson being much more active on that front.
Nicholson is the man who should be held responsible the most for what happened in the transfer window, with several negotiations failing miserably.
