Celtic fans are not giving up.
After the Celtic board’s tone deaf statement was released on Saturday evening, supporters are even more united against the club’s hierarchy.
The transfer window disaster is one thing, but the statement which followed defending Celtic’s recruitment policy and spending was the straw that broke the camel’s back.
As such, votes of no confidence in the Celtic board have been submitted, while more and more fan groups add their signatures to the open letter sent to the Hoops hierarchy last week.

North Curve Celtic issue open letter update
North Curve Celtic, closely affiliated with the Green Brigade, are one of the leading voices against the club’s board.
And they have issued a fresh update to supporters, saying that the number of signatories of the open letter has risen to a whopping 420.
NCC stated: “Open Letter to Celtic FC – 420 total signatories.
“The Celtic support is as united as it has ever been – and is being ignored. The next steps will be discussed between signatories this week.
“If a signatory has not received a meeting invite, please email [email protected].”
The meeting in question was announced last night and will be held on Wednesday, September 10. All signatories will attend and discuss what action should be taken next against the board.
What are the seven questions asked on the open letter?
The Celtic board issued their unacceptable response to raging fans on Saturday night, but the Green Brigade called it ‘insulting and condescending’.
Here are the open letter’s questions which still require proper answers:
- What is the club’s long-term footballing strategy, and when and how will this be communicated to supporters?
- Why has there been no investment in critical positions despite repeated pleas from the manager, obvious weaknesses in the squad, and calls from supporters?
- What accountability measures are in place for repeated failures in transfer dealings?
- How do you intend to modernise the club’s structure to compete in Europe, and why are we consistently unprepared for qualification stages?
- When will supporters receive the results of the ‘fan survey’ conducted over a year ago, and why have these not yet been released despite being in the club’s possession for several months?
- Why have the results of the Fairhurst Inquiry not been made public, and what action will the club take to protect supporters from unlawful and disproportionate policing in the future?
- Why does the club continue to resist working with supporters to improve matchday atmosphere, supporter experience, and consultation on key issues such as ticket pricing and distribution?
