Kyogo Furuhashi left Celtic for Rennes for a fresh start this January.

The Japan striker made his Celtic Park exit to Rennes in a £10m moe that helped to facilitate Jota’s return to the Bhoys on a transfer day that left Celtic fans breathless.

Kyogo said he wanted to leave Celtic to help kickstart his Japan career and clearly sees a move to Ligue 1 as the perfect opportunity to do that.

And in a post on social media, Rennes released photos of the Japanese striker’s first training session at his new club and those pictures show how Kyogo is feeling after his Celtic Park exit.

Kyogo Furuhashi’s training pics from Rennes show a different player who left Celtic

Sitting 14th in Ligue 1, Rennes are bang in trouble in the relegation playoff places just four points from the foot of the table.
