Rubin Kazan winger Sead Haksabanovic is reportedly back on Celtic’s radar as Ange Postecoglou looks to add the final few touches to his squad.
The 23-year-old was once an up-and-coming prospect at English Premiership side West Ham United, having joined them from Halmstads BK in 2017.
Haksabanovic went on to make just two appearances for the Hammers but failed to make the grade, being sent out on loan to Malaga and IFK Norrköping.

Since moving away from the English Premiership side, the Swedish-born winger has completed a big money move, joining Rubin Kazan last summer for a fee believed to be in the region of €6.5 million.
However, the Montenegrin internationalist has suffered a disruptive first 12 months in Russia, and in January, his contract was suspended by FIFA due to the Russian invasion of Ukraine earlier this year.
The winger went on to spend another loan spell back in Sweden with Djurgårdens IF but has now returned back to Russia and isn’t part of Rubin Kazan’s plans.
As Haksabanovic seeks a move away earlier in the summer transfer window, he was linked with a move to Celtic. However, it was reported that Ange Postecoglou’s side opted against the move.
New reports from Sweden have stated that Djurgårdens are hopeful that he will return to the club. But, interest from Celtic has once again arrived as the Hoops plot their move in a second attempt to sign the attacker.
According to fresh reports from the Daily Record, Haksabanovic is a player who is back on Celtic’s radar and is on a list of options that Ange Postecoglou could look to add in the final few weeks of the summer window.

The Scottish media outlet also stated how much it could take for Celtic to sign Haksabanovic, with Rubin Kazan ‘understood’ to be considering offloading their £6 million-rated internationalist at a slashed price.
With the left-sided wide player still on a long-term contract at Rubin Kazan, they are also believed to be considering allowing him to leave on loan.
Having chosen not to make a move for Haksabanovic earlier in the transfer window, with the Russian side now considering slashing his asking price, it could be a move that has intrigued Celtic’s interest once again.
Another attacking addition has been on the agenda for Ange Postecoglou throughout the summer, and now might be the ideal time to strike a move for the winger.
It should be interesting to see how this one develops in the final few weeks of the window and if the Hoops attempt to make their move on a permanent or loan deal.
With Rubin Kazan’s transfer stance on the player now changed, Celtic could look to pick up a bargain late in the summer window.
