Ange Postecoglou’s upcoming managerial rival Tam Courts has spoken of his admiration for the job the Australian has done at Celtic, ahead of the Scottish Cup meeting against Dundee United.
Celtic are unbeaten against United this season, winning two of the three matches, including a 3-0 victory at Monday night’s venue Tannadice.
Courts is well aware of the quality that the Bhoys have and has been watching on to Postecoglou’s great rebuild at the club with interest.

Speaking to The Scottish Sun this week [11/03 print edition, page 54], he said: “What he has achieved in a short space of time in implementing his ideas and putting an identity on his team has been really interesting to watch.
“Celtic and Rangers are neck and neck just now and a great title race is set to unfold. I have total respect for Ange and the job he has done at Celtic.
“We have to be very respectful. Celtic and Rangers on their day are the two best teams in the country. We’ve managed to put previous game plans together to challenge both these teams.
“We are going into a quarter-final with a game plan that we hope will get us to a semi-final.”
Dundee United are definitely going to give us a tough match on Monday. They have a proud history in this competition.
They’re hoping for a bumper crowd, having taken the decision to reduce the Celtic allocation. It will be a competitive, cup atmosphere on Tayside.
Still, if Celtic can bring the intensity levels we know they are capable of then we should have too much for them, even if they’re up for it too.
Courts could find himself unable to do anything but admire Postecoglou again.
In other news, Scott Sinclair, Lustig, Ledley and more Celtic faves flock to Scott Brown Instagram post.
